SR. PROJECT: END OF FALL SEMESTER SUBMITION

ANIMATOR'S CHECKLIST

Before presenting your projects you will want to have the following elements on hand and uploaded to the Basecamp 520 / End of Semester Submission Folder.

Please include the items below in a single parent folder with the following Naming: workingTitle_fallSemester_2022

1. Treatment/Design PDF

Updated Treatment/Written Elements: Working title, controlling idea or theme (single sentence), project description or plot synopsis (single paragraph), target audience and personal connection. You may also include: Character biographies, sample log lines for multiple episodes, game-play strategies, level descriptions, etc..

Design Workbook: Project inspiration and Style Guide. May also include: Color scripts, environmental concept, character explorations, pose sheets, prop sheets, model sheets, character line-ups, etc..

3. Movies:

Story Reel: As close to final timings as possible the Story Reel should include scratch musical score and stand-in sound effects, time code with final shot count.

Progression Reel: An updated Story Reel including any shots with completed Layout or Rough Animation.

Animation and or Technical Testing: Include any movies that reflect progress made in areas of character animation, special effects, character rigging, etc..

4. Production Documents: You will need a Google Drive Folder to store your Production Documents.

  1. Follow each link below. Make a copy of each document, rename with your working title and save to your team's Google Drive folder.
  2. Create a New Google Drive page in your team Basecamp Folder and link the page it to your new Google Drive Production Documents folder.
